How often do I need to get these tests done ?
All equipment requires visual
inspections and electronic Test/Checks. Checking for damaged
connectors, plugs or extension outlet sockets, also flexible
cords that are effectively anchored to equipment, plugs and cord
extension sockets.
Equipment is is required to be
inspected and tested prior to initial introduction to service,
after a repair or servicing or intervals not exceeding those
specified in AS3760:2003. Some companies have implemented
their own stringent test regimen of increased frequency of
tests.
